As many of you know- Jason has left for India. He comes back February 9th.\u00c2\u00a0 So, for the next 3 weeks, 6 days, and 22 hours (who\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s counting) I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m a single parent. I haven\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t decided if I should refer to myself as a widow or a bachelorette\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6\u00c2\u00a0 Both come with their own connotations. \u00e2\u02dc\u00ba<\/p>\n
So far, with one week down, we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re doing OK.\u00c2\u00a0 When I think of it in terms of \u00e2\u20ac\u01531 day at a time,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s not too bad.\u00c2\u00a0 It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s only when I sit and think about how far away February is that I worry for my sanity.\u00c2\u00a0 However, in some ways, having Jason out of town is easier than when he works late. At least I know I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m doing it alone, and I can mentally prepare.\u00c2\u00a0 And I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t wait around watching the clock- hoping he\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll come home before I put the girls to bed, or before I accidentally fall asleep on the couch.<\/p>\n
FYI: Jason\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s doing well. He\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s alive and mostly well.
