It may be hard to believe, but Elaine and I have never owned a grill.  Having lived in apartments since we’ve been married hasn’t really allowed us the freedom to own one.  But now that we have a small yard and porch we have the space!  After a long day of unpacking boxes and organizing the garage we headed over to Lowes to pick up our new addition to the family.  That’s when the real fun began – putting it together.  Now, I’ve put together a lot of IKEA furniture over the years but putting this grill together was the biggest pain in the butt!  But after an hour or so and a few tear-downs and re-builds, the grill was finally assembled.  We didn’t waste any time in firing it up and having our first family BBQ.  Although nothing special, those hamburgers and hot dogs were some of the tastiest I’ve ever had.  You can be sure I’m going to try and find every excuse to grill something – anything – over the next few months.  Bobby Flay… bring it on!
